Beneath the Rock
Beneath the Rock is a near-future novel set in a ruined 21st-century Edinburgh, where survivors live in medieval-like poverty among the remnants of the old city. At its heart is a secretive group of tech-augmented rebels, hidden beneath Corstorphine Hill, who move through forgotten tunnels to scavenge, recruit, and lay the groundwork for a new beginning. Ruled from the shadows by the brutal ‘Chapel Kings’ in the remains of the Castle, the city teeters between despair and defiance. A richly imagined tale of survival, power, and the quiet hope of restoration. I write speculative fiction exploring tech, gender, and power. My book Beneath the Rock is coming soon.
